I remember the day I decided to graduate from diaper bag back to purse. It was a weird feeling. Part nostalgic, yet part freedom of having my individuality back. I mean don’t get me wrong diaper bags are way chic these days, but something about replacing my Gucci bag for a big ol’ tote that was half my size took a little bit of the cool factor away. I sound completely egotistical, but you get what I’m saying…

The day I stepped out of the house with a purse again I had that first time mom guilt. Like I was officially the worst mom ever. I felt the stares of other moms wondering how I was going to care for my 3 year old without my “mom bag”. Surely my purse could carry goldfish and a sippy cup right?

I was so excited to be asked by Lily Jade to style one of their fab diaper bags. Had I known of this brand when Landyn was born, I would have been sold immediately. It doubles as a diaper bag and a handbag. Because Landyn doesn’t require the necessities of the infant years anymore, I took out their removable inner “baby bag” that contains compartments for mommy/baby needs. It’s made of super soft leather (just be careful of spills), and can be worn as a shoulder bag AND a backpack. Not to mention its super chic. I’ve been sporting it all week and I am in love.

Thank you Lily Jade for the opportunity.
