Landyn and I spent the weekend with my parents and I don’t know what it is, but time with them always leaves me with a full cup. The older I get, the more I appreciate the little things. The heart to hearts, the advice, the endless laughter. The lunch dates, stories of my childhood, learning about my distant relatives, shopping with my mom, watching sports with my dad. It defines me and reminds me of where I came from. It’s been pretty awesome having Landyn around for it all. Letting her assist my mom while she highlights my hair just as I did when I was Landyn’s age. Or culturing her on the best Mexican restaurants in town because my Dad and I have been having dates around Mexican food since I was a little girl. Parents are such a blessing.
I am so excited to let the cat out of the bag this week on our newest venture!!
