Spring break has officially kicked off in our house.
We spent our first day off school at Underwood Farms. That place has a festival to go with every season. We rode the tractor and went strawberry picking, read the Easter story Labyrinth through a wheat maze, took pictures with the Easter bunny and a GIANT easter basket, and got our face painted. Landyn had a blast. We are very much into holidays at this age, and I find my girl asking questions. Questions that most of the time throw me off and I never know just how to answer.
Does the Easter Bunny have a car mommy?
How does the Easter Bunny get into our house? Does he go down the chimney like Santa?
Why do we dye easter eggs?
Did Jesus die mommy?
I have a smart one on my hands. We need book recommendations.
She’s got the peace sign on repeat. Such a ham.

We are spending the rest of the weekend pretty low key with a family brunch on Sunday. Is brunch a California thing? I had no idea.
…….
I wrote this post last night and woke up today to Landyn having a 102 fever. Did I jinx myself?
Cheers to a low key weekend! Oyyy.
xoxo Happy Easter to you and yours.
